To get the Full Rights (Access) or Installation and the possible errors while installing IIS in WIndows Server 2008 Edition

As you all may know, IIS is the Internet Information Manager which acts as the web server in the server editions. While installing the IIS in Windows 2008 server editions or above, the thing to be noted is that it is not available with the Windows OS.It has to be installed separately. So the path and the steps to install IIS will be added to this blog. But for the time being, I am focusing on the possible errors that can come as part of the installation.

A number of websites provides the steps to install the IIS. After following those steps we can see the IIS logo in the Internet Explorer , but the problem arises when the SQL Server is installed which requires the IIS to be completely installed.

The problem is that: UNLESS we manually the roles or services given below the IIS installed will not have the full power or we can say the full rights, that the Admin is supposed to have. The missing services are-
1.  Static Content
2.  Default Document
3.  HTTP Redirection
4.  Directory Rebrowsing
5.  ASP.NET
6.  ISAPI Extensions
7.  ISAPI Filters
8.  Windows Authentication
9.  IIS Metabase
10.IIS 6 WMI
These services must be added at installation runtime.

In order to get the full access or the full rights these services has to be enabled. These must be marked on after  the other while the option to mark the services of IIS while we install the IIS. I hope it was of some help.
